Taos has always been a town of artists, builders, skiers, ranchers, and entrepreneurs. Now it’s time to add one more identity back into the mix: hoopers.
The Northern Basketball League (NBL) was created to bring high-level, organized adult basketball back to our region. This league is built for players who still love the game — who want real competition, real structure, and a real season.
This isn’t pickup ball.
This is organized, refereed, team-based basketball with standings, playoffs, and pride on the line.
Why We Started the NBL
There’s a gap in Taos. Many of us grew up playing competitive basketball. Some played in high school. Some in college. Some just live for the run. But once adult life takes over, organized basketball becomes hard to find.
The NBL solves that.
